B is Two Bubbles
A second alphabet book with a whimsical twist, in B is Two Bubbles it’s the shape of the letters A to Z that counts (the idea was inspired by my then 6-year-old daughter, who drew an A in the shape of a mountain). Once again, teasing rhyming couplets are stylishly illustrated by Riccardo Guasco, with a generous nod to iconic locations in the city of Bath.
Think: Michael Escoffier’s Take Away the A meets Winnie the Pooh.
How it begins:
A is a mountain with snow on the top
B is two bubbles – how soon will they pop?
Cs on the ground show a horse has passed through
D is for raising a mug of hot brew
